Maglieaux's Riverfront Restaurant

I was there as a member of a bus tour on a Saturday during the week before Christmas. Although the street was crowed with traffic we had no problem being dropped off. It was the lunch hour and although crowded 15 of us only had a 5 minute wait. Our server immediately got us seated, took our beverage orders, returned with our drinks, took our meal orders for 15 separate checks and our food soon followed. All of us purposely ordered different dishes so that we could share & compare. Everything we ordered was outstanding! Great cuisine across the board! When done our server was so organized she knew who's check was who's without having to ask. We were in and out in about an hour and fifteen minutes. That is almost unheard of for a restaurant that wasn't expecting a bus tour group. I highly recommend this establishment! The service, the food and the ambiance was beyond excellent! I definitely will be going back!!!!! A truly 5 STAR stop for a nice meal when visiting Natchitoches!!!!!!! They are open 11 AM to 10 PM on Fridays. Call to check on other times but I think they usually close around 9 PM on other nights.

Probably the best place for lunch by the river on a quick visit to town. Food was of generous portion and delicious. Decor was a little under kept so thats why the 3 star. All the potential and i definitely recommend a visit.......staff very friendly.

Wife you spaghetti with meatballs and the shrimp appetizer, I got the blackened chicken Alfredo. Food was very bland, then we got the bread pudding which was better than the food. I would go again for desert but not for the food. Has a good atmosphere and has live music on the weekends.

Went today on our way home from Shreveport. I picked it based off location...Didn't disappoint. Service was good, food was good and the ambience of the entire meal was great !

Sat on deck to enjoy the river. (Unless You're going for music, you won't get an outside table on Saturdays when they have live music!) Drinks are yummy! Wish there was a bit more variety on the menu as we likethe bar/patio and not really want inside table service, butthe food is yummy! Staff is very atrentive and courteous!
