Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I could write a novel explaining why my experience was so bad. I'll try to keep it short and stick to the facts. Service was virtually nonexistent. After our meals came out we didn't see our server again until he brought the check. There was also an extra charge on the check for what I assume another table ordered. Our tables (plural) were dirty, silverware...dirty, glasses and plates...dirty had to replace all. Our food was okay, but I suspect was contaminated. My date experienced some discomfort. I on the other hand had to make several trips to the bathroom. Ruined movie night for me. I've never not tipped. I even tip for piss poor service and bad food. The complete lack of care for the people they serve and the lack of sanitation was just too much for me. The only reason we stayed was because we hadn't eaten that day and were starved. I almost forgot to mention the dead insect on the windowsill. Just overall a horrible experience. I won't ever be back.

I have always trusted Olive Garden for good service and good food until today. This Olive Garden was marginal at best. Waitress was new and did not know what to do. We got hard bread sticks, salad was half full and looked like it was recycled. Finally another waiter stepped up and got us a fresh salad but never did get fresh bread. Our waitress left the restaurant. My food was ok but my wife's did not look anything like the picture. Was a disappointing visit. Get you hostess to actually greet and smile, was depressing from the start.

Stayed with my husband in Shreveport for work related. We decided to eat olive garden for dinner. We went with my sister and her boyfriend. My sister ordered a strawberry daiquiri to drink. We had a very nice waiter. Friendly, and polite, but he accidentally spilled the entire daiquiri down my back. As it was an accident i wasn't angry. Our food just arrived right before that. He had a manager come over and talk to me. She just played with my 1 year old daughter. Didn't offer any assistance or anything. I set the entire dinner soak and wet and cold. Not only that, i was charged extra for my meal. I paid for the endless chicken alfredo when i didn't ask for it nor did i get another plate. At this point, i was just ready to leave. I felt like the manger could have done something.

We went to eat for a birthday celebration. There were about 10 of us. The waitress was awesome. The soup and salads were tasty and sized appropriately. The entrees were enjoyed by all without any complaints. And the warm bread sticks were delicious. One of our favorite places to eat!

A great little place for all your pasta needs. Love the chicken Alfredo. Great tasting soups. Awesome salads. Gives you a choice of all you can eat soup and salad for around $10 bucks. Wow what a deal. You can't go home hungry. Great bread sticks, and deserts also. Enjoy.
