Mahan Rent-A-Car

Rented a 15 person van to take my family on a 3 day trip. The folks are Mahan were very friendly and efficient. The van was very nice, very clean, in perfect condition, and with very few miles. They let you return their vehicles on Sundays, using a key drop box. It worked out great for us. No hidden charges and much cheaper than the larger car rental places. Will rent from them again.

Mahan Rent A Car is great!! They guaranteed my rental and made sure it was exactly as expected! I needed a passenger van at the last minute since another company had lost my reservation. The ladies at the front counter went above and beyond to get me a van quickly!!! Couldn't ask for better customer service. I am now a regular customer with Mahan. I will not do busy with the other companies who do not guarantee their rentals!!! THANK YOU MAHAN FOR ALWAYS TAKING CARE OF US!!

The vehicle I rented was ready to go with no fuss whatsoever. Simple return process as well. The people at Mahan are always helpful and easy to deal with and they will always have me as a customer as long as they're in business because of the consistency of quality of the personal experience, the quality of the vehicles, and the price you pay which beats the larger companies hands down. I also like to support local companies and it is easy to do when you have such a great place like Mahan to go to!

We have rented several vans from Mahan and had a great experience every time! Mariah is so great to work with always accommodates our busy schedules when we are coming and going in the summer months with van rentals. We love Mahan and will never use anyone else!

Renting from Mahan was a horrible experience. We rented a 12 passenger for one week. At first, they tried to charge us 8 days rather than the 7 originally promised over the phone and thru email. They corrected this after much argument. Second, they originally promised us a van with tinted windows. We called to verify we got a van with tinted windows and they confirmed. However, when we got there they had a van without tints for us. We were traveling with many little children so tints were important. They refused to do anything to resolve the situation. It was either take what was reserved or leave. When needed the van right then since we were leaving immediately and had little choice. Third, they originally overcharged our credit card without our permission and they never informed us they were going to do this. They eventually refunded the overcharged amount. Fourth, there was a very small chip in the windshield that we did not see when we left. We saw it a couple minutes after we left. They charged us $45 without our consent for this chip even though it was there when we got the van. They seemed upset we didn't buy their insurance which seems why they charged us for the chip. If I were you, I would avoid Mahan as much as possible and only use them as a last resort.
