Mariscos La Playa

Most authentic Mexican cuisine I’ve had so far in Albuquerque and definite my favorite. The ceviche tostadas are piled high with delicious seafood, the chips are the best I’ve ever had and the selection of guacamole, beans and salsa delivered when you sit are all good. Also a great value for your dollar, though I would highly recommend this place even if it wasn’t. It’s that good. Great service, super friendly too.

The food was delicious and the service was on point. Everything tasted fresh. Food was well seasoned. Our server was attentive without hovering. Checked on us regularly throughout our meal. Live mariachi made for a nice Sunday brunch. Will for sure be coming back.

Highly Recommended - I was in the mood for a seafood cocktail. Thinking I would have a large Coctel Gloria for dinner, I asked the waitress for recommendations. The menu is full of excellent choices, and she steered me to the Tacos al Patron - a combination of grilled beef, bacon and shrimp. I opted for the small cocktail and tacos. WOW the cocktail was stuffed with a generous offering of mixed seafood and the tacos were fantastic. I frequent taquerias, and have never had anything like these tacos. The combination of the beef, bacon and shrimp was a perfect marriage of flavors. The restaurant is bright and clean with an upbeat atmosphere. Carla, my server, was wonderful. As I walked through the restaurant I noticed that everyone I passed was enjoying their meal. I will come back, but it will be hard not to order the tacos again.
