Stopped in for an early supper after a rather disappointing day. The food and service turned that around. The staff were all very friendly and quick to bring it whatever we needed and the food was outstanding. When the management heard it was our first time in we were sent home with some wonderful desserts on the house. We'll absolutely be back.

Amazing food. Great portions and it really feels like I'm in New Orleans. It's been a while since I had some good Cajun and I'm very happy to have been able to try this for the first time. The staff were exceptional with the hospitality. John our waiter took his time and read us a few of the options and we settled on the seafood platter with a very hearty amount of food. After we finished our meal the floor manager came over to us and asked if we would like desert since it was our first time. We accepted and the pecan chocolate brownie blew my mind. I recommend Pappadeaux to anyone that reads this.

Undoubtedly the best seafood in Albuquerque. The fish is always cooked perfectly and the sides are phenomenal. While there are some dishes I prefer to others I have never had a mediocre dish there. While I usually am too full to get desert on several occasions I have splurged and they are great as well. I usually get an appetizer though. The alligator is good and the crab cakes are the best in town. You simply can't go wrong.

I'm very disappointed in Pappadeaux, my daughter wanted to go there for her birthday. I hadn't been there in some time but remember that the food was good. We ordered the Filet Mignon & Grilled Rock Lobster which is $47.00 a plate. The steak came very dry, no juices at all we had to ask for steak sauce. The lobster was rubbery and over cooked. The only thing that was good was the bread and butter and the asparagus...that we had to pay extra for. The the amount the bill came out too, I would not go back there again. Unfortunately, the service was pretty bad too...the prior Governor Berry was there in the room we were in, the server spent her time on that table then everyone else. We had to ask for more water, and drinks plus we had to ask for the dessert even though I told the server that it was my daughters birthday. Very disappointing.

The only reason I am giving this a high score is because the service was great. We hit this place on a busy evening but we were seated quite quickly. The problem was I don't really like spicy food which isn't their fault. My friend like the food she got. This seems to be a really nice restaurant and I would recommend this place to anyone who is into spicy Cajun food.
