Brunch service and food here is sub par. Menu shows lack of innovation and flavor. I feel like our party could have eaten elsewhere and get better value. Bloody Mary was very light, watermelon poke had seaweed salad on top to make it poke, Kim Chi fried rice was bland and sliders were like regular ole sliders. I'll be back to try some of the other food items for lunch and dinner
First time brunch here, we are on the rooftop. The food is here AMAZING. It gets pretty busy, so not the fastest service, but very accommodating and friendly. The bathroom, though, is disgusting.. it stinks, it's small, it's dirty, and the sink it about to fall out of the wall. If I go again, I most definitely will use the bathroom before coming here, to avoid using it.
Honestly, we received fairly poor service from the female wait staff here at the bar. The mass mule Moscow mule - vodka and ginger beer was terribly weak and we request a repour - to which was similarly weak. It was artisan - mint leaf and everything, but still, a bit of a disappointment. Also, the female bar staff was arrogant my female date’s opinion. photos as of November 2018.
If I could score them separately for service and food, service would be lower due to one server who clearly was overwhelmed by the size of our party and managements lack of awareness. The food when it did come out was very tasty. The Korean fried chicken, French toast, and kimchi fried rice were my personal highlights. Go with a smaller sized party and I think you will be just fine.
I went there for their half off sushi on Wednesday. The sushi I had was good, but there isn't much to choose from their special. The prices are a bit high for the portion that they serve, which I know it is tapas style. If there is a Groupon or a better deal, then I will try their other food.
Very nice place, spacious no silly lines extremely nice staff good food great tapas delivered as promised. Great music. Loved the place.
Went here for date night and it was amazing ! The atmosphere was awesome, our server Ricky was great. He really took care of us. The food was delicious I will definitely come back!
If you and a few of your in-it-to-win-it friends come and take on the unlimited tapas and select drinks offering, you could really do it big here. The food was good and we left nothing behind. The setting is overworked. Unless you've always wanted to have dinner/lunch in a club setting, you'll probably feel as awkward as everyone else. If you're lucky, you can get a place outside and avoid talking over music that no one seemed to come there to here. Also: Hope you have a better bathroom experience than I did. See photo*
First a"ll you can eat/drink" brunch I did here in DC. Brought my parents when they visited. Cool rooftop, great food. Can be considered to be pricey, but I can drink $40 worth of booze in no time.
I really like Masa 14th. They have a decent happy hour menu. And this place is great on Friday and Saturday nights since it’s so big and they have a second floor which is very spacious. My favorite however is there brunch. Brunch here gets filled up fast so come early and be prepared to wait. But it’s worth the wait, the food and drinks are delicious during brunch.
