Nice selection of trails with picnic benches and tables available throughout. The trails are very moderate so it's perfect for family hikes, including the dog! If you enjoy the Pine Barrens landscape, this preserve is for you; there are some wonderful views along the Maurice River.

The Maurice River Bluffs Preserves is a great place for hiking and spending the day watching nature at its best. You definitely want to bring your camera, as there is so much to see and explore. You’ll see a variety of plants, animals and other creatures in their natural habitat that you definitely want to remember. Just be sure to bring insect repellent!

Pros: Really impressed by the trail system. Good variety of habitat types, lots of options for short or longer hikes, well maintained, good signage. Enjoyed the great scenery along the river and saw great wildlife (osprey, deer, etc.) Cons: Lots of poison ivy along the trail so if you bring the little ones be cautious.

Awesome hiking trails with great views. Who knew Millville had such great nature to explore. The blue trail is partially closed due to migratory birds until the end of July. All told there are about 6 miles of trails to be explored with some great elevation changes for south Jersey. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing hike to take we took the longest trail. Definitely not a straight flat path but never unmanageable. And you can't beat the scenic views!
