Nature Center of Cape May

A great addition to the eco-tourism of Cape May it holds a beautiful view over looking the quickly developing scenic shores of Cape May's man made harbor. Education venue engages the students and tourists alike. Covering preservation of man made waterways and the subsequent proliferation of aquatic and aviary species common to the area. Its a quick diversion for those looking to feel they are doing their part in supporting environmental causes by filling their days recovering from sunburn. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to assist.

Lots of fun for the kids and parents as well. We were there on a class trip today and it was set up into three different stations. One station was out on the beach where the kids learned about the local marine life by setting up a bunch of fish, shrimp and horseshoe crabs then getting lessons on each. The second station was at the gift shop and nature center and the last station was in the aquatic lab where kids got up close and personal with horseshoe crabs and learned all about them. The kids had a great time!

Adorable! So many cute little animals, exotic and local alike. I really enjoy all the knowledgeable employees and nice view from the lookout tower.

Very friendly and willing to help. I found something on the beach and took it there for idetification.
