Meat Cheese Bread

Possibly the best sandwich I have ever had is the BLT here that also has sweet potato on it. The bread was fantastic and the contrasts of flavors and textures on the sandwich was to die for. Solid spot that I can’t wait to visit again.

My number one sandwich shop in Oregon. I rarely wait in line. Always get a table. Food is fantastic. Bacon is amazing. GF orders Green Bean sandwich most of the time. I usually go for specials or breakfast burritos (order with sausage). The cup of soup is always delicious and mandatory as well as the killer bread pudding. I order all of it all of the time. When someone asks me where to go, I almost always suggest MCB. When I don’t suggest it, it’s because the other person is crazy.

Yeah, their sandwiches are great, but their real secret is their green chili breakfast burritos. We used to live right around the corner and eat here often but now we usually just return for the breakfast burritos.

The green bean sandwich is one of my favorite foods in all of Portland. This place rocks, super consistent flavors with real variety and depth!!
