I lost count of how many times I have been in this restaurant. I like the food and the vibe my friends and I get when we eat here. The previous and new owners take outstanding care of this restaurant. I highly recommend it. Understandable if you come at a busy or no busy time. Salvadoran food takes time as it is all fresh. Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!!!!
Love their pupusas! There's so many varieties to choose from and their curtido pairs so well with the pupusas. There's also a rice flour option for the pupusas which I was excited to try. The rice flour pupusa was a bit too hard/crispy in my opinion and I prefer the traditional version where it's softer in texture. Glad I gave it a try though :
Came in and they only have cash only available, not currently working I had to go take out money from the business next door, come back she tells me how can I help you? I start giving my order she stops me and walks away to give people that came in and sat down a menu first, comes back starts again with the order after I pay she, tells me 30-35 minutes . For a to go lunch order. It’s not even busy. Only one customer came in before me. People managing this place don’t know the value of their customers time, nor care about the experience I do love the quote at the bottom of the receipt, I’ll definitely “pass da word” about this place!
Delicious tacos try the suadero but what I generally come here for is the Horchata! In my humble opinion, the best in the south bay! They serve a 32oz for about $6. This spot is def worth a visit! You'll also find all kinds of memorabilia from El Salvador on the walls.Food: 4/5
This was my first time here and what made me choose this place was the pictures of the food. So I got there nachos with chicken, the tortillas were nice and crispy.. they didn't get soggy which means they make their own chips. The chicken was very good, juicy, flavorful, grilled and chopped in bite size pieces which is always a plus. I also ordered a drink their Horchata, which was so good..I wish I had ordered a large. So in all I would def recommend this place and if I am in the area again I would without a doubt go again.
Delicious, fresh, clean and healthy with a very good costumer service. It was a big surprise to find a nice place like this that can truly represent the flavors as if you were in South America. All food is prepared as soon as you order it so it takes some time but you won't regret. Family oriented place, they don't sell alcoholic beverages so it's a big plus to be in a healthy environment.
We haven’t been here in years, which is a shame because the pupusas are extraordinary and very affordable. Lots of choices, this time we went for a Pork, a Bean & Cheese, and a Chorizo & Potato. The Pork was nicely seasoned. Everything is super fresh. Very extensive menu beyond pupusas which we haven’t explored yet, but we’ll be back!
Super rude, like they don't want our business and their customers that keep the lights on and their paychecks coming are an inconvenience. The place on Camden is much better in service and quality. Don't waste your time for rudeness and mediocre food that takes 45 min for a small to go order. Most people in California speak Spanish so we can understand the horrible things you were saying about your customers. We usually tip very well and even on take out orders, no tip for you!
Ate Pambazo Chorizo Mexican sausage good value, tasty, quick to be served and Pollo Guisado Chicken stew with potatoes nice, enjoyed.
