It's the same old taco truck that was near Mitsuwa, just had to change locations since the gas station is gone. The parking lot is generally empty since the lot clears up in the evening. I always get the pastor here. 4 tacos, and a jaritto. All around solid post bar food. The onions are always browned, but sometimes you'll get the skin of the onion, but it's whatever. Something to keep in mind, SJ ricers do pop up here in droves after 9PM. So don't be surprised if you come up to a line of people and civics in the parking lot.
Food is pretty good but the staff is VERY rude. Tons of homeless in the area so be prepared to be approached. I would have gave 5 stars for the food alone and this would have been my go to taco truck as I just moved in the area. However, I won’t be back because of the lack of customer service. The search for my go to taco truck continues.
I love this taco place, its my to go place for sure. their salsa is just amazing. However, from past week I dont see them at the location. I've tried to call them but it's going to VM. Did they move to new location? Any update ? TIA:
Truck is on the corner of Saratoga and San Tomas. Luckily only 2 people were in line but after I ordered I saw a constant stream that continued til I finished eating my 4 tacos. Ordered 2 pollo and 2 al pastor tacos with all toppings onion, cilantro, and lime. Tacos are double tortillas and filled to the max with meat. Pollo was juicy and delicious and al pastor was incredible. Highly recommend.
Got the al pastor and carne asada tacos. Nice portion of meat with each taco. The green salsa was solid. Not bad for this first visit!

Super burrito with sour cream is one of the best burritos I have had at Santa Clara. You have to try it!!
It was a clean tasty place. Not anything special but decent enough that you won't be disappointed. You can pay by card which was very helpful. And they sell small bags of chips. Plenty of parking space in the area since it was a taco truck. Some lights in back or on the side would be nice so people don't crowd the sidewalk. Then again we went as a group so maybe they don't usually have that problem. Better than chipotle, nothing special, but good enough.
The best tacos Al pastor, buche, cabeza lengua. If you are in San Jose CA this place is the best.
Hands down the best tacos in the Bay Area! My usual is 3 pollo and 1 alpastor with a side of rice. Salas verde pairs extremely well with any taco.
