Michael's Genuine Food & Drink

I’m speechless with this place. Chef Michael Schwartz never stops to amaze me. The food is incredible, such great menu and amazing flavors are 100% worth knowing. The service is excellent and the ambiance is really enjoyable. There’s always around looking that you’re having the best possible experience. All of this makes Michaels Genuine one of my favorite restaurants in Miami so far. It’s right in the design district so right after you eat you can walk the food and start shopping! My favorite type of day! If you’re around I would recommend the pork belly, the baked feta and the coconut cake (my favorite).

Love love love this place. A menu that’s always changing, food that’s well sourced and imaginatively prepared, and staff that are knowledgeable AND friendly. This is a safe go-to place. The last visit we just had coffee and these two desserts. The espresso brownie was delicious. A seat at the bar can be the fast way to get food during weekend brunches. The burger is a favorite but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Dinner feels noticeably more refined than lunch, which has a nice casual feel and great vibe.

Second time my wife and I go to Michael's and man they don't disappoint. I had the fried chicken and it was spectacular, my wife the fish, but the Octopus... oh the grilled Octopus had us dreaming about it for days. Staff is polite and knowledgeable when ordering drinks. Can't wait to go back.

Love this place! Creative hearty and savory food! Nice outdoor garden seating and good buzzy vibe. Reservations are always recommended! It's a staple hot spot!

I really liked this place until I started walking more often and realized that there is more and more meat on this place, especially during the summer. Then I had an allergy to gluten, and it was very hard to eat. The staff tried, but the choice was limited, he had to always be busy with the staff to talk about the chef and the answer. If you do not have allergies, you are not obsessed with vegetables and local seasonal items, and keep your beauty through food services. The environment is good, and the service is most effective.
