I was in the process of speed-replacing my seized up AC Compressor in an '01 Silverado and needed someone to EVAC the 134A refrigerant before doing so. I called no less than 50 places in town who all said a) they couldn't just evac without refilling or b) they weren't willing to take the time, or c) it was going to be $150. I called these guys and they simply said "Yeah. We can do that. $45." Hilarious to me that after a full day of making phone calls, the only shop that could do the simplest of tasks also happened to be the one next to my house. I do all my own work so I do not need a shop often, but when I do: I'll be using Mikens from here on out.

I stopped by to use the restroom after getting off the bus, which I have done several times with no problem until yesterday, when I received nothing but hostility from the receptionist. He followed me and tried to knock down the door, yelled at me, and told me the restroom was off limits and to never come back again or he would have me arrested for trespassing. There were no signs on the door indicating the restroom was off limits, nor was there any sign that said staff/employees only. Only the unisex sign. It is easily accessible to anyone in the main lobby in the small hallway on the right. I was not disturbing any business or causing a scene; just simply using the restroom. The only 2 things I was guilty of is looking younger than my 31 years, the green and blue streaks in my hair probably magnifies me looking younger than 30, and my hair was messy after getting off work. Because of this, the receptionist assumed that I was a teenage delinquent bum whose sole purpose was to disturb his business by robbing him or worse. I don't currently have a car which is why I take the bus. If I did and it needed servicing, I would never bring it to this shop. I would never recommend this place to anyone. My advice to management would be to fire this receptionist for harassment and driving away potential customers. If the receptionist is the manager, my advice is don't judge people negatively by their appearance. He/she could be a potential customer. I know I am not the only person to have ever stopped in to use your restroom. I know I will not be the last. I know there are plenty of places a person can stop for restroom use. If your restroom is the closest facility for people to use, let them use it. It is not a crime or privilege, it is a need. If you don't like people using your restroom, put up an employee only sign.

They went over my whole truck and repaired everything that needed it, and had it done in a day and a half. Drive shaft rebuilt, seals, axle seal, pinion seal, four wheel drive hubs, and others. Thanks for a great job and timely repair!

They got to my car in a very timely manner, and repaired it the same day for a very good price.
