Walking in here was the best decision of my life. Modern Martial Arts rid of me my fears, weaknesses, and insecurities. The things I learn here transfer to all fields of life, courage truly can be taught and practiced. I recommend this place to anyone looking to become a better version of themselves.

It doesn't matter if you're trying to compete as a fighter, sharpen your skills for self defense, get a great conditioning workout to get in good shape, or just have a good time; this gym has it all. Classes are offered for different styles of martial arts at all different skill levels, and EVERYONE I've seen walk into this place displays results and improvement, very quickly, both physically and skill-wise. All the more advanced students are real cool and helpful, and John has so much knowledge about the things he teaches, that it's almost unbelievable. Every new student who walks in here is immediately accepted, and everyone becomes cool with each other in here. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of hard, tough, intense training with a friendly, welcoming vibe. Come check it out for yourself and you won't be disappointed!

This is by far the best martial arts school I have ever been to. Coach Potenza and his wife Sandra are two of the most knowledgeable and professional people I have ever met. They allow you learn at your own pace. You are never made to feel uncomfortable about your martial arts ability or level of conditioning. All the other students are very welcoming and helpful to new people. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to get in shape, learn self-defense, and have fun while doing it.

This school is awesome!! Everyone is great there. Advanced classmates always lend a helping hand and the instructor explains things really well. I've personally lost 25 lbs in just 5 weeks from their conditioning classes. I decided to compete in MMA and won my first match by knockout!! All I can say is this school has a positive impact on my life both physically and mentally.
