Satori is a wonderful place! In 10 short months, I have seen a huge change in my 7 year old son. He is focused and more confident in class, school and at home and has truly found a love for martial arts. This love of martial arts has spread to my 3 1/2 year old daughter who has been in class for a month. It has become a bonding experience for my children and as a parent I can’t wait each week to watch them train. Sensei Jose is a phenomenal instructor. He has the ability to be firm with the kids while creating a fun and positive learning environment across all ages. I am grateful to have such a genuine and positive role model in my children’s lives and I look forward to watching my kids develop further with Sensei’s guidance. Thank you to Sensei Jose, Sempai Nicole, and Satori for welcoming us into the Satori family.

As an adult student it is hard for me to find motivation to work out. This academy though not only gives a great workout, but a source of motivation and a sense of community. I am very happy to be a member here.

My son began training here just two months ago, and we see improvement with each lesson. He has made gains in self-confidence, discipline, listening skills, balance, & respect. Sensei Jose is a fantastic instructor, who tailors each lesson to my son's abilities in a way that is challenging, yet achievable. My son looks forward to class each week, and we look forward to seeing his continued progress. Try out a class- you will not be disappointed!

My son has been attending the Mini Samurai class for about 4 months and he truly loves it! He is kind of shy and quiet, but in just a short amount of time, I have seen great improvement in his confidence, maintaining eye contact while speaking with others, and feeling more comfortable around other kids. Sensei Jose is fantastic with the kids. He is firm, but still encouraging and positive with all students. He really works with each student and pumps them up to perform to the best of their ability. Vicki is also wonderful. She is always so sweet and makes all the students and parents feel welcomed. The facility is bright, large, and clean. I highly recommend Satori Academy of Ocean to anyone -- child or adult. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, you will love training here!
