Shaolin Kung Fu Institute

My daughter has been a student for over a year and she loves it. She has learned discipline as well as self defense and her self esteem has greatly improved. All of the instructors are professional and motivated to teach and help the students to learn and improve their technique. I highly recommend this Kung Fu institute.

This is a fantastic school, rich not only in martial knowledge, but the cultural and philosophical aspects of the art as well. Traditionally instructed by master instructor Sifu Rex McCoy, students gain knowledge in internal and external aspects of the discipline. This is a great place to develop mental and physical strength, and learn an excellent self defense style.

Awesome learning environment. You are responsible for your learning and advancement as instructors share martial arts knowledge progressively. Students come from all backgrounds, ages and abilities. The curriculum starts with basics which are carried through and built upon as you progress. Discipline is taught and learned not in a heavy-handed way but through mutual respect. Martial arts conditioning and stretching prepare students for both the physical and mental challenges. Northern Dragon (Lung Jop Pai) is a complete system with techniques that cover short and long range, joint locks, throws, weapons. Sifu McCoy has gone through a lifetime of training and perfecting the art (almost 50 years of continuous advancement and learning). As for the kung fu style, it is taught as is, not watered down for competitions but ready for that you might encounter out in the streets. Highly recommended for those who seek a true martial art (as opposed to a martial sport).
