Since joining Satori Academy I have been extremely grateful for being part of such an amazing family. The instructors are not just incredibly experienced and passionate about martial arts, but they truly care about every child that comes through their doors. Satori Academy's students are instilled with lessons that span far beyond martial arts; Satori Academy promotes respect, honesty, perseverance, integrity, and so much more. These traits are practiced by students on and off the mat which creates an amazing and safe setting for children to train.

My kids have been going here for almost two years, I feel like family! Instructors/assistants are all so wonderful, yet stern that the kids will listen. The curriculum changes yet repeats itself in a way that keeps my girls interested.
We will hope to continue our journey with Satori and even if we don't they will always have a special part in helping raise good respectful yet confident children that I am proud to say are mine!

Amazing place with wonderful instructors! My son loves it. I love watching them. Great workout, good life lessons and lots of fun at the same time. Highly recommended

Clean, professional, and FUN establishment! If I had 100 kids, I'd send them all there!

This institution is badly run, with an owner that is abrasive and unhelpful. I spent three weeks being sent back in forth between offices being told I would get at least one month refunded to me, after three weeks being thrown back and forth between offices I am finally told that I cannot get my money refunded. I called the owner after the second week of not hearing anything from the East Brunswick office, where they told me they would contact Renshi Nancy to talk about me canceling and she had no knowledge of my situation. She was rude on the phone and told me I would be contacted later on the day by someone from the East Brunswick office, I heard nothing. After going to the office to find out why I didn’t hear anything back from them, I was told Renshi Nancy never called them. A few days later I called again, and I was told by a staff member in the Edison office that she would call me back. Once again I heard nothing. That is an awful way of running a business, I should not have to be calling and going to the school itself to get a response. There were multiple occasions where I was told I would be receiving a phone call from a member of the Satori team and they never came. This is a badly run school, run by individuals who only care about getting your money. They will force you to buy gear from their school even if you already have gear just to get more money from you. There is only one adult/teen class slot a day which makes it very difficult to go to class, the adult/teen class is mostly teenagers. It is honestly not worth the money. This is the place for you if you are a kid and never plan on canceling your membership, otherwise I would pick another martial arts school and save yourself the headache.
