Moose Hillock Campground-NY

Nice sites best we've been to yet size wise! Too bad no dog park but they have one close by! We enjoy it an have already booked another weekend later this year!!

Best camping grounds anywhere! Big private sites, huge heated pool, great convenient store n game room, ATM, laundry and cable TV. Plus the staff is friendly n helpful. Not going anywhere else!!!

We have been going here almost since it opened. The HUGE private sites are what keep drawing us back. I just wanted to address some of the negatives in some of the other reviews. The price per night is a little high but if you compare to Lake George RV, which is nearby, you will currently save $12 per night weekday. Paying for showers is true. The cost is 25 cents and the amount of time is more than most people will shower. It is a way for them to make sure water is not wasted. The last negative I wanted to address is the religious aspect. The family that owns the campground is religious. They give you a little non denominational pamphlet at check in, they never push the issue any further. My downsides for the campground are organized activities are a lot less than other places. They really could do more with their incredible pavilion. The other thing is wristband replacement. I don't care for wearing the wrist band but charging $10 a day remaining on your stay is ridiculous. A dollar or two to replace a lost one is reasonable. Going back for Columbus day weekend.

Great huge private sites. Great pool and ice cream shop. Arcade games. The only thing missing is a strong kids program. There are activities Wednesdays and Saturdays but they need more structured daily kids activities. I would choose this campground over most but I would have rated it a 5+ if it had a stronger kids program. Good camp store for essentials as well.
