The people buying our home are going through these guys and what a nightmare it has been! The first delay was caused by the buyers due to them not getting the paperwork that was needed but they should have been much more forthcoming with the fact that it would delay things. These guys took weeks to order the abstract and Mike told the buyers the appraisal was ordered on the 17th and here we are almost two weeks later and the appraisal hasn’t been done!! We are supposed to close next week and are being told it will be another week!! The sale of two other homes depend on this one being done in a timely manner but they don’t seem to care enough to make things happen timely. There is no follow through from them! Be wary of these guys. This has not been our experience with New American Funding which who we are using on our end. We hear from them daily even if it’s just to provide updates.

TORREY BARNES! Is family now! This company went above and beyond what I had ever expected.. Torrey was very informative through the whole process! He was compationate and empathetic! Like I said he is now my brother.. never did I think I could grow as close as I have with a loan officer that I never met before in my life. I would highly recommend using this company for your mortgage needs and if you are lucky enough to get TORREY BARNES as your loan office know he will go above anything you ever expected a loan officer to do to get into a house! Remember buying a house isn't a easy feat so there will be times you just want to strangle the underwriters but I am a high school drop out with tenth grade education and a minority.. TORREY BARNES and MORTGAGE LENDERS OF AMERICA IS made my dream of owning a home for my 5 children a reality!! I truly love that man like a brother and I can't wait to finally be able to shake his hand!!

BEST LOAN OFFICER EVER!!!! Highly Recommendable!!! Charles Jones Jr. -- My experience working with Charles was a pleasure. He went from being an Agent to a friend. In the beginning I was very skeptical due to pass experiences and disappointments with other lenders as well as being divorced. However, he assured me he would make my dream of becoming a homeowner true and he did. He explained everything thoroughly and always called me back promptly, even after hours, weekend hours and holiday hours. His word is "Golden" and he fought for me and my "Dream" even when I felt it may not happen. He's honest, informative, Highly Professional and he always looked out for my BEST interest. He was always patient during my lack of understanding of some things, explained everything thoroughly and was very attentive to my needs. I would definitely use him again as well as his company, Mortgage Lenders of America. I would like to recommend him to everyone who is in need of financing. If you need loan help, he's the BEST choice.

We absolutely loved Mortgage Lenders of America and all due to Kimberly Brown! She is hands down the best and without her we would for sure not be in our first home so quick! I was totally new to the process and she virtually held my hand threw everything, she always answered my million questions really quick and was so patient and never got frustrated with me, even if i double asked the same questions to double check things. I honestly can NOT say enough good things about Kim, but I will gloat on her since she deserves it. She kept my updated every step of the loan process, she explained in detail what paperwork I still needed and after things were submitted, she emailed me right away to let me know it was accepted and whats next. My to-do list was never overwhelming because she gave me a short list each time until I finished it and she never rushed me or pushed to sign and she made sure I 10000% understood every part of my loan. I've read some of the other reviews and it really does depend who actually services you, and Kimberly Brown was A+++ service, so try to request her! And for final thoughts, she had me closed on the loan and my letter of commitment much earlier and have me a peace of mind during this stressful time to start packing and she followed through with everything that she said and promised as long as my paperwork was up to par and I was always honest with her about our finances and our situation and most important she treated me as a close friend who I felt really cared that I was satisfied and was getting a great deal with my current credit score and finances, what more can you ask for? So call Kimberly Brown and see what I'm raving about! Seriously!!

I have a family member working with someone at this company and I feel like it is my duty to comment on the way this company conducts their business considering the fact that I work for one of the top mortgage lenders in the country. First of all the closing costs continue to rise from what the loan estimate originally stated. Then they don't meet closings dates simply because they are not doing their jobs. Documents were sent on the Monday prior to the Monday the closing was scheduled for. The loan officer informs my family member the Friday before the closing that the underwriter hadn't looked at them so he can't close Monday. The seller almost walked. After convincing them to extend until Wednesday, the day the loan officer said closing would be held on, once again he informs my family member they can not close on the same day! This company is really shady and Lending Tree should be ashamed for recommending them. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Beware!
