Its a great place to stay! Basic and clean-ish rooms. No shampoo or tissue and only one little bar of soap. But I expect that when book here for one night while driving cross country. Staff very kind and try to be accommodating. Unfortunately, the night we arrive the hot water was out in the entire building. Staff did give us a discount and we did sponge baths in the morning! ;o)

This motel 6 definitely left the light off for us!
Nothing works here! I wouldn't stay here for longer than overnight. The rooms don't have a fridge or microwave. The lobby gives you the impression that the place is clean, until you head down the hallways! From the key cards to the laundry room nothing works. I'm surprised they had indoor plumbing & not outhouses!

My only complaint is that the pool was not accessible due to maintenance/some other issue. The main reason I stayed at that Motel 6 vs Cobblestone was that Cobblestone doesn't have a pool. So therefore, my ratings will be scored lower than I would have rated this visit vs prior visits, when the pool was accessible (I included pool use in condition of room. That's why that's the lowest rated). Also, any chance for a reduced room rate/refund on what I paid, as I didn't get full use of all services?

This should be a 2.5 rating. First of all, the staff was great!!! The facilities and upkeep are another issue entirely. The pool has apparently been broken for months with no intent to fix it. The plumbing is horrible, we were without a toilet for a night. The General Manager seems to have given up and left the staff to do the best with what they have to work with. It was very clean.

We ended up in the accessible room, 115, because I did not realize I had booked a smoking room. This is something I don't typically pay attention to as so few hotel chains allow smoking now. I can't complain because it was the last non smoking room available but it was very noisy due to the elevator noise. My suggestion would be to limit elevator use to, say, 10:00 pm when someone is in that room. We did not have a very restful night. This was our 3rd time here and probably our last. Don't want to deal with smoking issue any more. No
