Super 8 by Wyndham Clive/W Des Moines

This is a really nice and Convenient super 8. Staff was extra nice & tried to find me something that was only available at another location, yet they really made an effort. Answered questions and liked things up. The room was very nice and clean. Several restaurants are within walking distance and a gas station/convenience store is as well. Recommend to those wanting a traveling stay ... Not luxury.

Totally surprised, what a nice place!! Clean comfortable rooms , great continental breakfast, direct tv, exercise room....staff was very friendly, unbelievable pizza place close by sarpino's must eat there delivery to hotel w/late hours.

Found several children's toys and a hairpin under one bed, and a mixed drink straw on the floor between the beds. The support under one of the beds was laying on the floor instead of giving support. The second bed had large food crumbs scattered about underneath. The hair dryer was missing fan guard on the back. I didn't realize it was missing until my thumb connected with the fan portion of it..not what you want to find in your hotel room. There was an hour left when we went to breakfast, but the coffee was gone as well as the waffle syrup only having a very small amount left. I had to tip the can and hold it to get enough syrup for just half of my waffle. Not a hotel that I plan on visiting again

Facility met our needs. Desk staff was helpful. Breakfast was good with biscuits & gravy as well as waffles. Microwave in breakfast room needs to be replaced. Bed linens for king bed were too narrow.

Clean, good beds, breakfast consisted of waffles, biscuit gravy, cereal yogurt. Good value for the price.
