Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colfax/Newton

Very nice hotel and staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Even let me repair phines in the lobby. Only complaint is about the breakfast. No waffle machine, biscuits and gravy, some muffins, and cereal. They do however have lunch and dinner food options including a pizza oven. Considering it is in single digits that has helped avoid walking to closest gas station and fast food (almost 1/2 mile across very open fields). The food is minor, but one expects continental breakfast to have specific options.

This was very clean with exceptionally friendly staff. Frannie checked us in with a smile and friendliness. I would stay at Microtel Inn & Suites again.

Apparently a high crime area, had to park rental truck on back side in a caged off area to prevent it from getting stolen. Plenty of security cameras, lots of light. Had no issues. Room was what is expected of a microtel. Breakfast was nice. Decent place overall. If you can temporarily disable your engine easily, you will have more peace of mind overnight.

Good hotel overall. Rooms are a little on the small side. Good value for the price! Staff was good and accommodating.

It is a terrific location if you want to attend the Tulip Festival that is not in Holland Michigan.
