Motel 6 Glendale WI

I've stayed at this Motel 6 once a month for the past year or so. I can honestly say, yes this establishment may need some updates, but my 4 stars are for the hardworking, accommodating front desk staff. To single out, I believe her name is Tonya. (forgive me if I am mistaken) She is the epitome of professionalism at this establishment. She always greets the guests with a friendly smile and goes above and beyond her scope of duties to accommodate any and all guest.

For $39 I didn't expect the Waldorf Hotel and I take into consideration that the motel was being refurbished but considering it's location I didn't expect worn, dirty looking carpet, cigarette holes in bedding, water stained lampshade, water warped door, black stains in bathroom ceiling, window screen barely hanging on and a community iron and ironing board that was never available.Born and raised in Milwaukee and former resident of the Glendale area this hotel does not live up to the reputation of the area. With the homeless loitering in the lobby, coffee area, smoking area and the tackiness of the motel it gave it the appearance of a homeless shelter. Pluses, conveniently located everything a traveler needs located on one strip, price and friendliness of staff, would consider staying again with improvements.

Planning a trip to the Milwaukee area, called around to area hotels and was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful customer service I received. Thank you Tanya for answering all of my questions and offering suggestions for local eateries and “must sees” for me and my family! Looking forward to our stay and meeting you in person.

Tanya at the front desk, she is amazing and very helpful. If you need to know anything about things to do in the area or you are from out of town and need to find transportation, then Tanya is the person to talk to. All I can say is great customer service skills and she is very friendly and professional.

The personnel working there were excellent. They even offered a military discount with the already low price. I had hot water compared to my hotel two weekends ago at triple the price (not Motel 6). The bad part was the people next to our room were partying til 3 a.m., people upstairs banging around and woke up to the smell of Marijuana in our room and the local law enforcement asking questions! It wasn't the motels problem that I had an issue with, it was the people that were staying. This motel is currently getting updated, no clutter just not appealing.
