Motel 6 Sandusky- Huron

I like this place a lot and stay here when I travel with my sister. They have a hot spa and it is nice and clean! The rooms have hardwood floor and I like it better. I can see it is swept up. I think the desk clerk is so friendly and nice. Always takes the time when we see her to talk to us and smile. Not that normal anymore! If you have a chance to stay you must- clean and comfortable is what we need and that is what we get each time.

Very unimpressed. Read below for my full experience. First off, the room was not clean when we arrived. The toilet still had urine on it, and there was hair all over the sheets and in the shower. However, the lady at the desk changed our room with no problem. The next room was still dirty, but not as bad. The worst part about it was the bedding situation. The beds are horrible, you can feel the springs through the entire mattress, and you don't get any real blankets. The pillows are also extremely flat. When I went down to get more blankets, the lady at the desk told me she had given out the last one. Because of her saying that, obviously i'm not the only one who thinks there is an issue with lack of blankets/quality of them. They did have another pillow that was much better though. The pool was good though and the hot tub was okay, but pretty dirty as well. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the general manager refunded our second night there because we checked out early and went somewhere else. I'd advise spending another $20-30 and going to a comfort inn instead.

Lisa, at the front desk was an outstanding resource for local restaurants & things to do. She was absolutely an outstanding representative for Motel 6. The cleanliness of the room when we arrived needed attention. There was some type of crunchy food and dust bunnies left on the floor due to not sweeping well. The sink also drained very slowly.

Room was dusty. Angie and Laura are very disrespectful. Pool and fitness room are good. The beds has dust on the top and bottom. There was hair everywhere. I have evidence that the bottom of the bed has dust.

People were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and area around hotel was well kept. Thanks for being forward looking and having plug-ins for cars!!!! Great hotel, highly recommend.
