Motel 6 Sandusky - Milan

The room was clean and probably cleaner than you would expect for the price, it was a quality experience. However, the walls are very thin and rooms adjacent are connected and despite having a remarkable amount of free rooms, they booked a ‘couple’ beside us who were up until 1:30am fooling around loudly and were playing music. My key kept losing access to the building and room also - I have never experienced that. Other than those issues, everything was great. Staff was friendly and room was well taken care of.

I like that my sister and I can stay at this Motel 6 and feel safe. We travel to Florida every year and the people who are there are nice as can be! Such a gem It was raining so it was nice to see a boot scraper at the front door. Kept my floor clean. They always remember us and put us in a 1st floor room so we don't have to walk far. If there was something to make better I would see if they could add Ensure to the drink machine. Thank you for another good nights sleep!

My husband and I have been staying there on and off in the past 3 years, Because the rooms were always clean! On my recent visit.. the first day our room was cleaned, but the 2 nights that followed,we got someone different...The bed was barely made, dirty towels were left hanging on shower,ice bag, cups, and toilet paper was not replenished and she just laid the clean towels on the sink.This is the first time that has happened to us and I did bring it to their attention upon my check-out! I am confident that they will take care of this!

We stay here a couple times a year since moving from the area 10 years ago. Always had great experiences. This stay was different. The room was filthy, table sticky, floor had crumbs and a beer bottle cap on it, one bed had hair and crumbs in it like someone had slept in it already. Blankets and covers smelled bad and were dirty. ugh, I was so disgusted so I cleaned the room with disinfecting wipes myself. We didn't use the dirty bed. Also only the small light in the bath worked but one above the sink didn't so it was dark. Twice I went to alert the desk girl but she was with the maids outside smoking. The gentleman who worked the evenings was very courteous and helpful. Motel6 may not have amenities, but I could always count on a clean room. Not this time. I'm wondering if the hotel is under new ownership or management? Not sure we'll ever stay there again.

Stayed here after a day at Cedar Point. It was about 20 minutes from the park. It's what you would expect from a Motel 6. The room was clean and it was affordable.
