Plantation Motel

My girlfriend and I shared a double room with our two friends and we all agreed that the beds were comfortable and that was the best part of the room. The bathroom was extremely small, the water did not get hot. The electric socket that was between the beds did not work until we figured out that you had to turn on the light switch by the door to make it work. The filter in the pool was not working properly so the pool had lots of leves in it. The blankets seemed outdated and old! The towels were vary small and came from Walmart. When we checked in the front desk lady took our American Express card and there was a charge pending on the card, the next morning the owner told us that she had checked us in wrong and needed to rerun our card at that point he had noticed it was American Express and told us he didn’t accept that card and luckily we had the money to pay out of pocket. The room was definitely not worth what we paid and we will not be staying there again.

We ended up here because we wanted a cheap place to stay for a weekend. Everyone that was staying there was having a good time, which was just what we were looking for.

I believe the own is off at the head. He want us to pay for others people in our group that did not show up. So they pay for one night n He have that money. So please where they do that at. Do he think I am boo boo the fool.

The rooms are really nice. The shower feels like you're being rained on which is amazing. The owner is very kind and nice to talk to. It has a beautiful view of the lake with a small beach. There are huge rocks that are awesome to climb on. The seasonal guests who stayed there were also very nice to talk with. If I visit the area again then I will definitely try to stay here again. The only reason I only give 4 stars is the bed was very firm which is just a personal dislike haha.
