Motel 6 Youngstown OH

The staff was nice and helpful. The floors were very dirty, the lighting had much to be desired and we had to go to the desk three days in a row to get our key cards reset. There was a mix up at the front desk and someone else came banging on our door and claimed we were in their room. Otherwise the location was good. I booked far in advanced and asked for a specific room and got it. When we arrived we were given a completely different room. The clerk did her best to get us near where we wanted though upon arrival.

This place was really affordable, had great showers, and super comfy beds, no bugs, the manager Robert I believe was really nice and very present and watchful. You cannot smoke in the rooms or you will be fined 250.00 but it's posted everywhere and you sign a form of acknowledgement when you rent the room. The check in times are awesome anytime after 7am and checkout was at 11. Free coffee, friendly helpful staff. Either Jennifer or Amanda helped me can't remember but she was very sweet and well trained. If we hadn't been traveling across the country and were local we definitely would stay again.

Clean accommodations. Friendly service. Quiet place for a good night's rest. Although clean, the air in the room had an odor like a cat (litter box) had been in the room previously. Airing the room out with a little help of a spray product would solve that problem. The Motel 6 is conveniently located and I ended up staying here again. The second stay was excellent. No smell in the room the second time around.

If you're staying at a Motel 6, you know you're in for a no-frills place to spend the night before moving on to your next destination. As a dog-owner, I always stay at Motel 6, which have almost always been dog-friendly, without a surcharge. The new chain-wide remodel has been great, and they make the rooms seem airier and cleaner. At the Youngstown Motel 6, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and there are several restaurants nearby, including a Dunkin Donuts for morning coffee. I only with they had a refrigerator.

The employee at the front desk was very polite and have excellent customer service. My room was very clean. I didn't her any noises at all from the time I arrived till my departure. Only thing I would have wanted in my room that i didn't have was a coffee maker, and a microwave. Over all I had a great room, in a great location.
