It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. Summit is bland. Hike up is the prettiest and most inspiring I've seen to date.

Amazing hike with lovely views along the way and the occasional wild pony. Summit trail has no scenic views but makes up with the beautiful old growth Forest that you hike through.

It was enjoyable on the way up but you should honestly savoir those views because there's nothing to see at the top ..it's completley surrounded in trees. Still, it's absolutely gorgeous and there's a water stream at the shelter you pass on the way up (as long as you have a filter).

Great 9 mile round trip hike from trail head. Your views are before you get to the peak. There are two brass markers on top.
