Munchen Haus

Super good brauts! Only good reasonably priced food in Leavenworth. For such a touristy town, this is the one place that I will be returning to consistently for good food. It's a bit busy at peak times, and throughout the day. But well worth the wait. The line goes quickly and food is ready almost immediately. Like I said, definitely going here again.

This place is awesome. The brat is the hands down best I've ever had and the pretzel was soft in the inside and crunchy in the outside with butter and salt to top it all off. The mustard bar was beyond anything I've ever seen offered and the friendliness of the staff combined with the welcoming laid back atmosphere is something I wish I could transport to my local area. Any time I'm near Levenworth WA, this stop will be a must.

I'm so happy this place was introduced to me! Why you ask? 1) It is an easy decision to go there, the food is good, they just have a few choices and they are all good, you order at a window and pick up your food, they have plenty of seating, and they can handle big groups during peak hours, Amazing operations. Fast, Easy, and Affordable 2) Beer sold separately from food. I like beer, but I don't like waiting in line for beer. At Munchen Haus, the beer and food are sold from different stands, so If I want a refill, I don't need to wait in a food line, nor do I need to flag a server, I just go get beer, Hurray! 3) The Price is right! It is easy to feel like you are paying the tourist price in Leavenworth, not at Munchen Haus, they have service where it matters and let you DIY everything else, keeping prices down. Amazing!

Loved the festive music and firepits. This place is outdoors but manages to stay cozy in winter. Also loved the wide variety of toppings. The bratwursts were just okay. Jalapeno Cheddar was the best. Pretzel was delicious. Potato salad just okay. Service was great. If I find myself in Leavenworth again I would gladly go back!

The staff really sets this place apart from the other sausage shops in town. Keeping such a high volume of customers moving in and out is a challenge into itself, but even with the cozy setting, you never feel crammed and there is always a team member nearby clearing another spot. *Pro Tip -- If you're just coming in for a drink (best prices on the block), skip the long food line and walk into the back to the bar where there's no wait.
