Food was delicious. Lots of choices for finger foods. Ordered like 8 small entries. Service wasn't great during our visit but only one time so far. Real crab meat in Rangoon. Decent sushi. Spider rolls and California rolls were on point. Cool atmosphere, interesting bathroom in the basement. Clean.

I end up visiting Nara probably more than I should - but it's just so good! Plus their service industry night is a deal I can't refuse. The sushi is always amazing, the cocktails are delicious, and the atmosphere and service is great. I've never sat on the patio, but it's beautiful! If you want sushi in KC - this is the place to go.

Nice atmosphere, trendy place with live music. Parking is easy. Service was great. Happy hour has some good deals. The sushi was average but it came out quickly.

Sangria was full of flavor. Salads were very fresh. Calamari was okay. Skewers were beef, shrimp, chicken, sausage. Quite good. Service was very good. Nice atmosphere. Will return.

Nice outdoor patio, upscale atmosphere. Our waiter was adorable, polite and attentive. I enjoyed the addition of tempura alligator on their menu. Their hot sake was incredibly overpriced but the food prices were in line with other restaurants serving similar fare. I was disappointed with the large number of Americanized sushi which included cream cheese and fried food.
