National Car Rental

I rented a minivan since I was traveling with family and a lot of luggage. When we arrived there were no minivans available but there was a fairly large, fancy SUV which met our needs and were happy to take that instead. Upon return, I was shocked to find that the bill was five times higher than expected, but the agent at the desk was able to correct the rate and explained that the computer system changed the price automatically because we had technically downgraded the vehicle. Thus, in the end I was happy with how I was treated but it would be better to fix this issue to avoid such delays when returning the vehicle.

I'd made an error with the dates on my reservation. I'm an Executive member so jumped in a car and drove to the gate, then didn't have the right information. The agent at the gate was extremely helpful and adjusted my reservation, even though the site said there were no cars available. Highly recommend.

I loved that I was able to pick out any car that I wanted The attendent even asked me if I wanted the Cadillac. My only complaint was the scent in the car. I'm not sure if what was spayed in there but it interacted with my allergies but aired out after a day. I thought about switching cars but I lived driving a 2018 Camry.

Just pick a car or suv and go. How easy can it get? I think it's great.

I arrived at Reagan National Airport upon arrival I went to the National Rental area. Just know this was my first time renting with National, I usually rent with Budget or Thrifty. I see why I rent with these Companies compared to National because they have me a car 🚗 already to go without me having to walking 🚶🏾 all over Rental Car Garage trying to find me a car! Then I receive a rental agreement in case I get pulled over by local authorities. With National I did not receive a rental agreement and had to wait for a car rental to be returned! Then the return location was offsite at the Dulles International Airport...how was I suppose to know that? After driving around 15 minutes trying to find the return location! I guess I got what paid for the rate I was receiving!
