Nationwide Children's Dental Clinic

Great Experience! My six year old was told he needed two root canals on his cuspid and first molar three months ago. These are primary teeth. The dentist we were previously with wanted $2100 per operation. I'm at that point where I earn too much to qualify for any aid and although I have great health insurance, dental isn't offered through my job. I didn't have the extra cash so I put the procedure off. Well, this weekend my son bit into a Dorito and was in tears. I called around Saturday night and couldn't find an emergency dentist due to his age. He had another issue Sunday and I looked online and found Children's Dental Clinic. They accept walk-ins if the child is in pain. We got there right at 9 am and was seen almost immediately. The nurse and dentist truly love working with children. My son was calm throughout the procedure and they had him giggling nearly the whole time. My son had two teeth extracted and not once was in pain. Again, to work with children in pain you must truly love what you do. Preston and Angelica are two of the most amazing people working with kids. They are absolutely a huge asset to Nationwide Childrens. As far as cost, I will be waiting for the bill. However, with laughing gas and all it will be nowhere near the $4200 my old dentist was after to preform root canals on a six year olds primary teeth. The new facility is great with a parking garage attached. My wife was very intimidated by the office being downtown but is more than willing to make the drive herself going forward. The new building is simply two turns off I-70 and clearly marked. Children's used to be in a rough neighborhood but is now in it's own kind of neighborhood. Nationwide Children's is definitely one of the greatest assets we have in central Ohio. UPDATE 1/2/17 Got the bill today...only $409 total.

We took our 4 year old son in to get his tooth fixed for a deep cavity and the dr and assistant were AMAZING! They were very good with our son and made sure he kept calm and talked him through everything! I would highly reccomend nationwide children's dental clinic!
