Gave them a laptop which was having blue screen issues. Took their sweet time and then came back after a $50 diagnostic fee that the mother board of laptop was faulty and it's basically a dead machine. Brought the laptop back home, it wasn't even screwed back properly, fixed it, installed Windows and it's been running for last 3 days with out any issue. Highly unprofessional, as they deleted the partitions of hard drive and didn't even bother to recreate them. I gave them a faulty but still functional laptop and they returned a unbootable machine. Lucky I knew how to recover it, most people would just accept and throw their perfect machines in trash. I don't think they have any idea of what they are doing. Highly NOT RECOMMEND!

I needed an anti static bag to mail a GPU. Nerds On Call was literally the only place that helped me out. They were also the only people that knew what an anti static bag was when they answered the phone. Even when I called Geek Squad, the guy told me that he didn't know but they sold book bags... A lady at Fix My Gadget told me she didn't know, but she would put a request in the computer and have a professional call me. Anyways, they are really friendly, super helpful, and know their stuff!

I got my service done about 4 months ago, but it is crucial to not allow others to experience what I went through. In short, I have brought my Macbook Pro (2012 Non-retina) to this place 4 times, and each time, the computer has stopped working within 3 months of service. While I understand this is most likely a problem with the hardware on the computer and not the service, the last time I went to Nerds on Call, ensured I will never go back.
Not only did they ruin my $50 case for my Macbook Pro by cracking it, making it unable to stay attached to the computer, they did not put a SINGLE screw back into the bottom of the computer. This means the back panel of the computer was not fastened. I understand missing a screw or two, or maybe a screw is a little loose, but when ALL the screws (about 12 of them) are missing from the case, it makes you wonder what kind of business this company is running. As it stands, my Macbook Pro is still not fixed, and I don't want to keep spending $300 every time their extremely limited warranty runs out. I would strongly advise taking your machines elsewhere.
UPDATE: Took my Macbook Pro to a different place, they fixed my problem within 15 minutes and for under $30. They also informed me that the previous place (Nerds on Call) did not even screw in the hard-drive stands. Meaning my hard drive was free to move around inside the machine. Ridiculous.
