New Jersey Martial Arts

I just had the pleasure of visiting from Los Angeles and training today with Professor Marco Perazzo. Whether you are a "regular guy/gal" interested in self-defense or have aspirations as a competitive athlete, Professor Perazzo and his school can get you there and accommodate all skill levels. I very much enjoyed his teaching methodology introducing a technique and then gradually building up the student's ability to use the technique against a resisting opponent so that the student is actually able to incorporate it eventually into his repertoire sparring. He maintains a fluid curriculum with his students focusing on positions and chapters for periods of time to explore and teach. The facility has a generous mat space with numerous private changing rooms for the students. More telling are the quality of his students who were well skilled yet also very cooperative and welcoming to this visitor. I very much enjoyed my time there. If you are seeking the most effective martial arts training and live in the area, I would encourage you to check out this school which provides training in Brazilian jiu jitsu, Muay Thai boxing, and MMA.

NJMA is simply the best. The family forged is like no other, and when you train here, you are welcomed with open arms to train at many other affiliates. If you are looking for a respected and no-nonsense school, NJMA should be your first choice.

I met Marco through a mutual friend over 8 years ago. His knowledge of training and his teaching styles are world class. He is also very respected among the martial arts community. I always look forward training there after a stressful day. My wife also trains at his 2-3x a week . If your looking for martial arts training professor Perzarro and his facility are top notch

I met Professor Marco Perazzo in 2004 and trained with him for about 6 months. It was fantastic! Then life got in the way. In 2015 I contacted Marco after 10+ years away and expressed an interest in training again. He welcomed me back as if he had just seen me the day before. He is a highly-experienced competitor and a great instructor. His extensive background and experience allow him to effectively work with everyone from aspiring pro fighters to absolute beginners. He also has a great sense of humor! I would be remiss if I failed to mention that the assistant instructors and my fellow students are also top notch. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and supportive. Come in and check out NJMA. You'll like it here.

I travel an hour 2-3 times a week to practice at NJMA. Its a fantastic environment for me to practice and further my education. Marco especially is an awesome instructor with a super effective teaching method. Thank you NJMA!
