MacKenzie & Yates Martial Arts - Atco

Great place! Amazing instructors. My child Jay has been taking karate lessons for a 10 months now and I couldn't recommend this place enough! Great for fitness, respect, focus. I feel like everything, from pre-enrollment up until now, has been great. I especially appreciate the clear communication from the staff about each class and about my son. He Loved it from his first class and look forward for next class every time. The sole reason for this is the amazing instructors. They are the most patient man on earth. They manage to keep them focused, learning, and having fun all at the same time. My son is so proud of himself after every class. I highly recommend this martial arts school. Thank you guys so much!!

ILKB is the MOST amazing place! I have never had a better workout or a better group of people in my life! I have lost 10 pounds and so many more inches in less than 3 months but the stamina that I have is better than it was when I was in high school. I suggest this to anyone at ANY level of fitness - at least try it out you get a pair of gloves and 3 great classes for only $20 bucks - who can beat that?

I signed up for the 5 classes because they were $29.99 and I found a deal for 50% off. I completely felt it was the perfect time for me. For years my schedule conflicted with the times when I seen the specials for the classes with the gloves and I was dying to go. Through God's grace I finally got the opportunity, and I seen the deal again. I was in there like swimwear! My first class I ate too close to going and I tossed my cookies. Plus I was dehydrated. I was sad and embarrassed but I took the break I needed and jumped in. By the end of the first class I was happy I stayed. The second and third class became easier and I am actually interested in coming back for more each time. I like the direction they give, they push you to be better. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. The fellow kick boxers are in the same boat, and it's such a non judgmental zone. I've never felt so comfortable so fast anywhere. I'm very thankful for my opportunity to try these classes and I am signing up. Time to continue to better my life. I am recommending this to everyone. If you're on the fence.. Try it. Believe me.. You'll be amazed and feel accomplished like me. 😍

If your looking for a place to send your child or even your self to learn martial arts. This is the place!! Master Yates is amazing instructor along with his team of staff members. It's always clean and tidy. They really take their time with you. My son has a problem paying attention and gets overwhelmed when something doesn't go right. I really was skeptical about him learning patterns. I can't stress enough how much he has learned to focus and not get upset when he doesn't get something right. Your not just a person who walks in the door. Everyone treats you like family. The higher belts take care of the lower belts to keep on the track. If you have questions someone is always willing to answer. I am always recommending them to my friends. This is the place to be! :)

This is an awesome martial art school. I am very pleased with decisions I made for my son mark. He was a very shy and had no friends. After a year of him attending, he has lots of friends now and is starting to come out of his shell. Thanks Master Yates
