I would give a -5 ☆ if possible. I worked for the owner, Beth Piper and worked aside her as well. She is a very greedy and selfish woman. She talks about the customers that, "rub her the wrong way" and over charges them. As for her products and service. They are decent. However, she needs to be trained on hand washing procedures and cleaning. There are roaches galore in and around her deli table. On top of that, she keeps her employees tips and if she can get away with it, she will keep their paychecks as well.

The owner of this place beth is very evil. I worked for her for about 2 weeks and found a better paying job closer to home. She is not giving me the money she owes me and is not answering any of my phone calls or text messages. My family is really depending on this money and I don't see how anyone could be such a evil Person.

Watery gumbo over instant rice and not much sausage or chicken. Muffaletto was large in roundness but thin and flavor was overwhelmed by Tabasco so that I could not taste the olives. Wife could not eat it.

The fries were average. The service was okay. The shrimp left something to be desired, it was pretty dry and left something to be desired. A signature sauce either something creamy or buttery would have done it some favors.
HOWEVER the hush puppies were delicious, they had the perfect amount of crispness on the outside and the perfect amount of soft and moist on the inside. I'd order just a plate of those to eat.

I'm from La. and I can say their food is authentic. I drive all the way from Springfield when I need a "fix." The best gumbo, PoBoy's, Red Beans, Jambalaya, and Muffeletto's in Nashville.
