Volunteers say it's okay for bull dogs to be off leash if the dogs are "trained."

Very nice Animal Services Center. Friendly staff. Reasonably well kept adoption center. Volunteers are generally helpful.

my pupp i lost a few years ago whom i thought had died was found from his microchip i caught a flight that next day to get him all the way from texas. i get there and they tell me its 200 dollars to get him :( even after explaining i had spent money flying out there, they wanted me to pay for the person that gave him up fees for having them come get him . They wouldnt offer to work with me on the price instead let me see him through bars with three other dogs in his cage without opening cage or holding him and told me to release him to the shelter where he will be better off. At a kill shelter ! instead of working with the fines and lowering them i had to give him up .they dont care about the dogs here it seems just an everyday thing for them sad.

It would be nice if these folks answered the phone more than two hours a day, returned phone messages, and responded to emails. Unless you go down there in person you're out of luck. They don't seem to give a damn. Thry did take a suggestion for improving their website so perhaps there's hope.
