Amazing staff, very helpful and very friendly. It's impressive to see how much work they do to help these poor animals in need and yet don't get the recognition they deserve. We admire the care and affection we've seen at this facility and wish you all the best!!

This place has the nerve to call themselves a no kill shelter when they euthanize perfectly good animals. Animals who have people who care about them. And just to warn the people of Tracy who have pittbulls. If your pet gets out and somehow ends up there you better find out fast cause they won't contact you or call you back they will just take it upon themselves to kill your dog all because of its breed. Believe me I know.

Beautiful, modern, state of the arts facility. Wouldn’t take the cat I’d found because I live in the county although still in Tracy. Had to drive to Stockton animal shelter which was inconvenient. Think they should reorganize the territory to include both city and county residents of Tracy.

My FeeBee came from the Tracy Animal shelter.. The people at the shelter have always been very nice & helpful to me.. My Cammie is also a rescue dog .. To me they are the best.. they seem to know that you helped them and pay you with many kisses 😘 🐶🐶 both my babies are girls they are Multi-Pooh's about 7-10 lbs.. I'm now looking for a brother for them... I'm looking for a larger male like a Labra- doodle or just a gentle lab or Shepard

This ridiculous shelter told me everyday that I came in be the first to get here so I came 3 hours before opening and when I went in (first one there) someone else wanted the same dog and they had us DRAW for her! I have been coming every weekend for months to find the right dog and they B.S. me with "be the first one here" this pound is full of it they need to elaborate on their meaning on fist come . I can not stand them how dare you tell people that and then break their hearts!
