The staff was helpful and answered all my questions. They do minor medical and intakes by appt, there is a fee for surrender. They can not take in lost or stay animals but can direct you to a local shelter who can help. They offer spay and neuter services as well as shot clinics.

I'm a three-time adopter and have been a volunteer for 10 years - and I couldn't think of a better place to dedicate my time. The care that staff provides for all their animals is unparalleled, complemented by dedicated volunteers. I've also used their low-cost spay and neuter services for community cats in my neighborhood - it's truly an asset to the community. If you want to adopt or just help out animals, the Sacramento SPCA is an invaluable part of our Sacramento community, and I am grateful for all they have done and all they continue to do.

This is a wonderful place to rescue a pet. I would remind people that if you want to bring home a new family member bring your family and current pets with you to the facility to be sure everyone is a good fit. I would highly recommend checking online first if it is an option.

Very helpful staff that really care about the animals. Clean facility and lots of animals that need homes. We adopted a dog last weekend and she fits perfect with our family. She is very playful and we love having her. I am so greatful for places like this that help the animals to find new homes.

Very wonderful adoption agency! Got my mom a beautiful baby kitten for Christmas and she loves her so much! Her name is now Lelu and she's very crazy and playful. The staff here made the experience very simple and went above and beyond with their service! Will adopt from them in the future
