1 Love Dog Rescue

We could not be happier with our experience at this rescue! We adopted Penny just two days ago and she has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. She is just perfect and has had the easiest transition into our home. We worked with Justin and you can see how much he loves and cares for these dogs. He was quick with responses and answered our questions. I’m shocked by the negative reviews to be honest. 1. The adoption fees are not too high, a lot of these dogs are having multiple vet visits and surgeries before going home to you. We got our first dog from a farm in Tennessee as we were looking for a certain breed, we paid $2000 for our puppy. So I wouldn’t complain about the adoption fees 2. You can’t adopt a dog with unrealistic expectations, no dog is going to be perfect and it’s going to be confused going home with you and having no idea what boundaries, rules, and schedules are. You have to expect to put in work with your dog and bond with them, not gonna happen overnight 3. Of course he isn’t going to know every answer and detail about these dogs, they are rescues from all kinds of situations and you never know how a dog is going to react to different situations. Just some food for thought for some ignorant people, I do a lot of research before making a commitment like this

We got our rescue dog from here and it was an amazing experience. They were super helpful and seemed like they really cared about the dogs. We got to walk around with our potential adoptee for a while and let him calm down and get comfortable around us. They also let us know that he had a small ear infection and gave us medicine and our first vet visit free! In addition, our dog was already neutered and chipped and had all the paperwork. Three years later he’s still a happy pup and we’re so thankful for 1 Love for bringing him to us!

Read the negative reviews on here and take them seriously! Justin Montgomery is a loose cannon. After reading the negative reviews, read his responses... his personality comes out in every single one of them.

We just adopted our sweet baby from 1 Love. We had some special needs (needed a girl non shedding) and Justin worked hard to help us out. He's very busy so you need to patient. Put the dogs in front of your emotions and be patient. He will help you find a furever friend. Thank you Justin for all your hard work.

We had the best experience with our adoption at 1 Love Dog Rescue. It is apparent Justin cares deeply about each animal and goes above and beyond in caring for them and the people who adopt. We are so blessed with the new addition to our home. Thank you for all you do!
