Nice facility, friendly volunteers and a selection of dogs and cats who are treated with great care. Of they don't have the dog or cat for which you are looking, they will gladly direct you to nearby facilities who may have what you want. Note: make sure you double check the animal viewing hours before you come because the are NOT regular business hours, 9-5.

Cats look like they are cared for and healthy. The dogs are in foster homes. An appointment is needed to meet the dogs. Friendly people there.

Really good place overall, but you can tell they need more people to help work and volunteer here

Nice area for checking out the cats. Other than that avoid this place. Very odd...
We couldn't look at the cats because the girl in charge of adoptions wasn't there. Mind you, we just wanted to look as we had before, and would be happy to return anytime to fill out an application if we found what fit us. A volunteer was there playing with them, she didn't care if we looked, she actually would have welcomed the company. But you know, the rules. Although no one could explain why she had to be in her office down the hall for people to be able to look at cats.
Its pretty obvious The girl in charge of adoptions is inexperienced in her position. On a previous visit she informed us that our existing cat must now be a 100% inside cat if she were to entertain letting us adopt 2 new kittens (we already explained we were looking for 2 indoor only cats). She's not very old, and I have no problem with that but I would bet I've owned more cats before she was born than she has since she's been alive. It felt more like she is being forced to adopt out her personal cats than trying to save strays and give them a good home and that's Unfortunate.
I'm sure she was an EXCELLENT volunteer, and she's very nice, but she should be no where near any kind of position of authority or decision making. At least not yet, maybe after some training.
We ended up with 2 from the pound, again, (I'm old, I've outlived a lot of cats) once again the pound was very easy to deal with, and we rescued 2 of them. Win /win!
Wherever you end up try to get a rescue cat :) thanks for your time.
