Optima Specialty Hospital

This place is all about the money. There was no one on one counselor or therapist session. They put everyone in a group session. Not everyone is comfortable discussing their problems in a group. If you voluntarily sign yourself in you are suppose to be able to leave in 72 hours. Well that is not true. You are there definitely for 7 days no matter what. They violate your rights and do not care. They do not break it up into treatment like depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, Alcohol etc. You all get the same treatment and almost all the same medicines. Some of the workers are very rude and treat grown adults like children. It's all about authority and power. There was a hand full of workers that treated you with respect. The food is very good and the cafeteria workers were much nicer than some of the nurses and aides. Some of the Med Techs were upset when you went to take your meds like you were bothering them. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
