Outback Steakhouse

Our family has dined at this outback many times. Every time, we have a great experience. Last night we went to celebrate an occasion and had a 2 year old in our group. Our server, Sabrina, was AMAZING. She was quick with our requests, answered questions, and even grabbed and held the attention of our little guy at the table. She really helped make our night a success and we have ZERO complaints. Thanks Outback Boise, for being consistent. And thanks Sabrina, for being a great server that was just wonderful (and helped us learn dinosaur names for our sons toys)!

I have eaten at a few different Outback Steak Houses around the country and I was happy to experience the same level of satisfaction the evening we went here. I try to stay away from the Blooming Onion when there are just a few people in our party (too many calories), but when we have a bigger crowd, we break it out! Our mean was well prepared and tasted great. I'm so glad I was not disappointed.

Good food. Great service. The manager, at the last minute, was able arrange a table for 20 on a Saturday night , when they were extremely busy , to help with a friend's celebration of life. They helped make an otherwise somber situation very enjoyable.

Outback steakhouse isnt what it used to be. If you get one of their steak choices, you either have to choose one of their more expensive steaks or settle for a steak that is filled with fat and gristle and really isn't worth the cost. I used to really enjoy this place but the last 3 times we are here, over the last 2 years, the quality of food and service has bottomed out. This most recent trip ,and probably the last trip, our waiter messed up so many times that we lost count. We didn't get mad, just re-asked him for water refill or napkins. 15 min later we finally got the attention of another waiter. Thanks for a substandard experience outback.

My steak was overcooked, but the server asked if it was perfect and I told her no. She very cheerfully insisted on having another one prepared for me. When it was served, a manager came with it and apologized. The server brought a doggie box for me to take the other steak home. Before we left she thanked me for giving her the opportunity to make it right. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the place is a little rundown and dark and my steak wasn't great. Still, we will be going back for the great service and this time to try a steak cooked medium instead of medium well and see if the flavor is better. With that service it's definitely worth another try. The fries are delicious as is the brown bread they bring. The Caesar salad could have been a bit larger. It is kind of small, but the piece of carrot cake I took home made up for that! I think it weighed about 5 lb and it was heavenly!
