P.C. Richard & Son

Much as I would like to support a family-run company, I have a hard time recommending this place. We bought five air conditioning units from P.C. Richard, and it took four phone calls and two emails to complete this simple order. Representatives would claim that "it went through already", "you have no orders in the system", and then "the order is several years old". They also would not even estimate when the items could be delivered until after I paid for everything. To avoid gotchas, I had the representative (Joe R.) confirm to me in person that I could use their in-house rebate worth about $400 in total, but later it turned out that the order was in fact not eligible. I gave them a chance to address these issues and never heard back. The installer (André) arrived outside the agreed time window and didn't know how to install the insulation panels. I had to stop him from throwing them out and show him how to do it.

Richard was amazing and extremely helpful in helping me find the correct washer and dryer. I have been looking to purchase for a while but I was concerned about not getting the best one for my apartment. He walked with me around the sales floor enlightening me about the array of machines that were in their store. Needless to say, he has helped me tremendously and I will only shop here for appliances.

We love PC Richard! We usually buy our large appliance and electronics here. Had a great experience with in store sales guys, Julio and Adrian, recently when buying a new fridge. And the service is top notch! Had an issue with the install (line was too short) and they went above and beyond to rectify it! The service is why we buy here and not from a big box store or online. Even better was the price was better than the other stores too! Will probably need a new w/d in a few years... Already planning to go back when we do.

I came to PC Richard and Son to purchase a air conditioner. A very knowledgeable salesman helped me his name was Adrian. I recommend this place they have it all.

Omar answered the phone when I called. After two months of my husband and me discussing what to do - going to Lowes and having them come measure, we still could not make a decision and figure out what would work. In less than 5 minutes, Omar confidently assured me that the fridge we wanted would replace what we have and fit and then let me know our existing W/D, purchased from you 6 years ago (and now experiencing smoking conditions during the rinse cycle) was no longer made. (I called Whirlpool and they were willing to send a service person for diagnosis, but frankly after smoke conditions and an hour trying to get through to them and then the service folks I decided it was easier to simply buy a new machine.) In 5 minutes, Omar solved both my problems - the new fridge would fit and GE made a stackable to replace my Whirlpool stackable, and it would fit and was the right combo of electric and gas. I feel we got lucky calling and getting Omar on the phone. When we went to the store today, when asked, he told me he was a 17 year veteran of the store. A prized employee - he should be amply rewarded. (Just know I NEVER fill out customer satisfaction surveys. Omar was confident, knowledgable, efficient and a pleasure to work with - the best experience we have ever had purchasing an appliance and the best experience ever at PC Richards.) TREAT HIM WELL!!!
