Welcome to puppy prison. Where your dogs are captured by the government, and then you're forced to adopt your dog that you already own, for profit. This place is just as horrible as a for-profit prison, they go out and look for animals to kidnap and them "sell" them back to you. Animals that were fine, and are in a loving and caring home and know how to come home by themselves, and would never hurt another human. 0/10 stars. Every single dog in there looked miserable. And my dog had to get injected with a microchip, apparently per a mandatory state policy. Was I allowed to be with my dog during this procedure? No. I asked, but apparently they don't want you comforting your dog, because we can't have happy dogs here.

My family and I was at Grand view drive park too let our dog out. And the kids too play at the park. And we seen a cat that was sitting on the step. Either someone let there cat go there or it ran away from home. So we was being caring citizens so we called the animal control after hours and they gave us a number too call cause the cat looked very weak and hungry and cold. So we through we was doing the right thing but I guess not. The animal control lady showed up at 10:07 pm. And we was very relived. But we was wrong. First off she was very rude and unprofessional. She said well we are a after hours service and we only come on emergency because we work all day and we have too get out of bed. Too come get this animal and if it's not sick we don't take the animal because we a emergency only service. She yanked the cat out of my arms and proceeded too shove the cat in the carry cause she was mad cause she had too get out of bed. Slammed the cage shut. Put the cat in another cage in the truck and was throwing her self around shut her truck door and was flying out of the park like a bat out of he'll. Never telling us thanking for being caring people. And if she works with the animal control she should not have shoved the poor cat in the cage I would with people who are elderly and I would never treat them like that she should never be working with Animals. In my eyes that is a form of animal abuse for taking it out on that poor Cat. Please do something with your staff it's not right. I wil be contacting the mayor of peoria. This lady doesn't derseve too be here if we did that we would be fined for animal abuse and so should she.

This places is horrible If you owe fees on any animals in the past and then you go and get an animal or currently have an animal and they take that animal from you you will not be eligible to get your animal out of there until you pay those fees off and then you have seven days to pay those fees off and if you don’t get your animal within seven days they rehome your animal or euthanize it If its-not eligible to be rehomed this is sad 😞 they need to Fixs this you guys are taking animals from people who love them an care for them My little guys registered in Florida I come to move here and they take him for me and tell me I have to pay $900 before I can get him out and only give me seven days what do you do when you just paid rent two days ago

I adopted a beautiful German Shepherd from pcap. I had to wait a couple days because I went on a Saturday to find a dog. The wait was because the vet checks all pets before they leave to make sure you are adopting a healthy dog or cat.

Today I will be picking up a dog named Leo I adopted. Thru this whole process the entire staff has been great. Iv never adopted from a shelter but after my experience I will only go here n recommend everyone I meet to come here aswell
