Pep Boys Auto Service & Tire

I had several issues with my vehicle when I arrived. My primary issue was I needed a new battery. Second issue was a coolant leak somewhere. Third issue was brake pedal going all the way to the floor. Fourth issue was play in the steering wheel and bad vibration. Fifth was needed an oil change. Well around 900 dollars later I'm still jumping my van off, the vibration will shake you out of the van, the breaks are still soft and I have one brand new tire on the rear I didn't need. I did receive the oil change and do believe the coolant leak was solved but what happened to a new battery, brakes that stop you, and a front end that don't shake you out of the van. If the shaking was a bad tire then why not put it on the front where the problem is instead of the rear. I'm part of a national fleet of vehicles that most always uses Pep-Boys for there maintenance needs. I will personally take my vehicle some where else for future service.

They lost multiple items from my vehicle. Like lug nut key and lost hubcaps on my Toyota take a long time for a simple oil change

I was a walk-in, and received quick service, or a tire balance/rotation & oil change. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They even had a quality trailer tire I was needing. Recommend and will be returning.

Had a bad experience here last year concerning tire warranty. However I had a nail in my tire today and they fixed it for free without even taking so much as my name. They have earned future business from me due to this random act of kindness.

Made an appointment the day before - kind of last minute. Kim was helpful in making an appointment. Quick oil change and tire rotation. Good coupon online for high mileage oil change. Ryan was service technician, seems like he did his job well and quick. It took a little less than 1 hour to do the job. They couldn't find out a problem that I have been experiencing with the oil light coming on when slowing down. However, Ryan said he reset the sensors and so we shall see if it works. Good place to go to for a last minute weekend urgency. Thanks Pep Boys Team in Phenix City!
