Thanks to all the Nurse & Tech they are so great to taking cares of my mother-in-law@ Promise Hospital in Bossier City. Nurse Nekka& her partner tech are the best. Lynette is the best with her beautiful smile. Sarah & Nurse Michelle are the best. And all others Nurse & Tech that taking cares they are the best. Physical Therapy team are wonderful & fun. I'm going to re-iterate another reviewer's words, Janice. My mother was in the hospital at WK North for a week then transferred to the Promise 2 weeks ago. Since then she has received care equal and/or less than that of a poorly run nursing home. Her health is not only getting worse, but no one will give us any answers or do any tests to see what is causing her health to continue to spiral downward. They say she needs to go see a specialist to get tests done but they will not release her even though they are NOT providing any unique care - oral medications and rest is all and she can do that at home if they are not going to do anything further. WHY keep a patient and offer zero solutions or tests to try to figure out what's going on when you say she needs to go see a specialist on her own time? The "social worker" says it's the doctor's call on how long she should be there then the doctor says it's the social worker who makes the decision. I believe they're just keeping her there to run down the medical expenses that are being billed to medicaid and depleting any "days" she'll have remaining to get REAL help in the future. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE and if I don't get a real answer and help from this place for my mother I WILL BE taking other measures.

Very poor incompetent staff full of know it alls. The respiratory specialist had the nerve to laugh in my face over my concerns about their patient. In 2 hours time the patient has taken a downward spiral 100 fold. The staff seems to think this is the norm for the patient; however this is our grandma and we would happen to know a little bit more of her everyday behaviour. Incoherent babblings isn't anything of the norm and quite honestly a sign of a severe issue. . This staff seems to think a 102 temp is a good vital sign. May 12 2017 11:20pm

I am giving praise to LaShae RN. She is very kind to my dad and was attentive to his needs. She was very helpful in my communication to my dad, who at this time cannot hold a phone. (several days later)I am very happy with Chermaine RN. for taking good care of my dad. Brennon RN. also provides good care to my dad. Both of the nurses are excellent representatives of the nursing community.
