Recycle-A-Bike

An absolutely wonderful resource to the community! Stopped in and was warmly welcomed with no prior experience working on bikes. Quickly found myself with my sleeves rolled up, engaged in the basics of changing a tire and on to diagnosing and repairing mechanics I've never even thought to assess! Many thanks to this friendly and helpful bunch! Had a lot of fun and will be looking forward to participating in another open shop.

Since the new pedestrian bridge over I-195 opened, I've wanted to commute to work by bike. Recycle-A-Bike got me started with an affordable, dependable and comfortable ride. I plan to attend open shops soon to learn how to maintain my new bike and to begin a project restoring a vintage one. The organization is fantastic!

I went in on a Tuesday evening and (with the help of the very friendly staff) was able to both fix my bike pump and find an obscure bit of hardware. Thanks!

Come and work on your bike with other bike people. Cool, fun, and helpful. A good cause too boot.
