Very neat rock formations, depending on the trail there are a lot of shifts in elevation. Beautiful old trees, will be back here.

There are two main areas to hike at Snake Den.  This rough dirt parking area is for the northern portion of the park that accesses the established trails.  Trails meander across fields, woodland, and rock ledges.  Great place to walk the dogs or do some mountain biking.  This is a very undeveloped place; trails go everywhere, maps are hard to come by, and trial blazing is nonexistent.  I've walked these trails 50+ times and I'm still finding new areas and getting lost.
