S C Department-Social Services Medicaid

This place is nothing but a scam. I applied in December and meet income level but they count my husbands Christmas bonus for 3 months so they didn't approve me. I'm know 6 months pregnant drive all the way out to this ghetto Medicaid office. They were rude the 1st time I went you dont get a personal agent to help you. You go up to a window and give them your info and they write you a letter to say if your approved or not. In nc the Medicaid office is nice and clean and you talk to someone one on one. So I drive all the way out to reapply at 6 months pregnant and they are closed on a Thursday for Confederate day. Are you kidding me. Our tax dollars at best people. What a scam.

Have called for days! Same ridiculous automated message .wait time over 40minutes. Really! Held held on for over 2 hours message never changed. This is absurd. Government at its best serving the people of SC.

Government at its best. Been on hold for 2.5 hrs and still NOTHING!! Wow. No wonder Obamacare is failing.

I had contact with four different employees on two different visits. All of them could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
